*From 1981-1986, Jeep offered a 20-Gal. OEM “plastic” fuel tank in the CJ’s. Our 15-Gal. plastic fuel tank does not directly replace the OEM 20-Gal. plastic fuel tank. A new 15-Gal. OEM style skid plate, sending unit, top strap, end straps, liquid control valve assembly, fuel filler and vent hoses are required to install our 15-Gal. plastic tank when replacing the OEM 20-Gal. plastic fuel tank..
