1976-1977 Jeep® CJ 15 gallon gas tank. This tank requires the 15 gal. OEM style skid plate for installation. Includes new lock ring and O-ring. Approx. dimensions 23" x 16" x 10". Replaces # 5355314 and # 8127698.
This tank fits the 1972-1975 Jeep CJ but requires the 15 gal. OEM style skid plate, top strap and end straps. The original metal tank was bolted directly to the frame of the CJ.
When installing our 0050 or 0050XL tanks, the best fill and vent hoses are our CJFH-2 and CJVH-2 regardless of year. Our manufacturering process does not allow for a long vent neck so the CJVH-3 and CJVH-4 hoses are too short when attached to the matching fill hose.
This tank also fits 1972-73 Jeepster C101 and 1971-1973 DJ but requires the 15 gal. OEM style skid plate, top strap and end straps. Using the required skid plate will require some custom installation work when bolting the skid plate to the frame of the vehicle.

This tank will fit the 1972-1975 Jeep CJ but requires the 15 gal. OEM style skid plate and end straps for installation. The original 15 gallon metal tank was bolted directly to the frame of the CJ.

From 1981-1986, Jeep® offered an OEM 20 gallon factory "plastic" tank in the CJ's. Our 15 gallon tank does not directly replace the OEM 20 gallon factory plastic tank. A new 15 gallon OEM style skid plate, sending unit, top strap, end straps and hoses are required to install this 15 gallon tank.
*This tank will fit in a CJ8 Scrambler.*

1987-1995 Jeep® Wrangler YJ 20 gallon gas tank with fuel bowl. Replaces original 20 gallon plastic tank with or without fuel injection(will replace original 15 gallon PLASTIC tank w/ rectangle sending unit hole). Includes new gasket and a new pair of upper straps.
This tank will directly replace Domestic model #'s 52002633 & 52018287.
This tank will NOT directly replace export model #'s 52018779, 52019226, 52007258, 52002622 or 52020522(Egypt) - a new skid plate and sending unit are required.
The filler and vent hoses may need to be spliced and elongated as well.
Some early 1987-1990 Jeep® 20 gallon plastic fuel tanks had an open ended skid plate without the rolled heat shield over the exhaust pipe, we recommend replacing the skid plate as an exhaust/heat shield safety precaution. We also recommend replacing the fill and vent hoses to prevent possible fitment issues with the new skid plate.
